Beyond the Job Description on MSNBC and FOX Business

This has been an exciting week to officially launch my new book, Beyond the Job Description.The book hit shelves on December 17th and the feedback has been inspiring. Below are a few recent highlights I wanted to share.

Yesterday I taped a segment with host JJ Ramberg for the show “Your Business” on MSNBC. That segment, about the ways that organizations and employees can align their shared interests, will air next month – more details to follow.

On Tuesday I taped a “Career Accelerator” piece with FOX Business’ Lauren Simonetti. I talked about how the expectations we face on the job are often mixed and full of contradiction. Here’s a clip of that back-and-forth exchange.

If you like podcasts, I had a really fun interview with the guys at SmartPeople. I got the hosts fired up about how to “find your passion and make your best contribution at work.” Here is a link to listen to the show.
